I had a lovely weekend escape at Colwick Hall Hotel, appreciating the charming character of my room, Robert Burns. The restaurant offered good food, albeit busy, but I was disappointed to find the bar was unavailable. While the gardens were beautiful, making it a perfect retreat, the lack of extensive facilities made me realize it's more of a place to unwind than to be active.

My stay at Colwick Hall was a mixed experience. The impressive exterior and beautiful grounds created an inviting atmosphere, but the room I stayed in left much to be desired. While the staff were pleasant and service-oriented, the facilities need updates and improvements to match the hotel's potential.

Dining was somewhat disappointing. the breakfast options were lacking in variety, and, quite frankly, the breakfast meats and eggs were dry. The app for room service was a bit of a hassle too.

My experience at Colwick Hall was a bit of a mixed bag. The ambiance and historical features of the hotel are truly stunning, and I found the room itself to be very spacious and comfortable. However, I did encounter some disappointments, especially with the breakfast service and a few noise issues during my stay. Overall, while there were highlights, some improvements are definitely needed for a more enjoyable experience.
